First of all a warm welcome to Lisa, a new member of our life drawing group. We are not a taught group but we are always happy to share our experiences of methods, materials, processes and techniques.
Life drawing is always worthwhile as a regular pursuit, as it encourages hand eye coordination, makes you really look at shape, form and proportion, as well as steadily improving drawing skills.
In this session we were pleased to draw Dave, one of our regular models, who has a repertoire of superb, interesting and sometimes challenging poses. As with all our models he is able to hold long poses for a considerable length of time and well as move into dynamic short poses. So a big thank you to Dave for his invaluable contribution to our life drawing.
Shown here is a selection of drawings from today's group of life drawing artists.
