About Us

We are a group of artists working across a variety of disciplines from abstraction to ultra realism. We support and encourage each other, sharing skills and new techniques. We also run occasional workshops which are open to members and non members.

The group first came together under the tutelage of renowned Yorkshire artist Tom Wood at his Redbrick Mill Art Academy, Batley. At the end of 2021, when the Academy closed, the group relocated to Empire House, Dewsbury.

The group is made up of a wide range of artists, from professional, semi-professional and self taught backgrounds, all of whom work with reference to artists past and present. We exhibit regularly and we also draw from life models on a monthly basis, which is open to non members - see events page for info on how to take part. You can also look out for updates about our activities on our events page and on our Instagram page.
