As is the case with many people, I was only able to achieve my passion to become an artist quite late in life kickstarting this by embarking on a comprehensive course of art education culminating in two degrees, also being invited to exhibit in various exhibitions.
After a few years of working in a solitary environment, missing the interaction previously experienced, I joined the community of artists at Redbrick Mill. Now, having attended for a few years, I feel my work has flourished and evolved.
My concentration is solely focused on an emotional response to the work being produced taking me through long processes to fully grasp subtle interactions that occur between one abstract form to another. There are no hidden meanings or agendas within my paintings they are pure abstract, achieved through the manipulation of colour, texture and form.
